I tested a little more and on an overnight suspend I only lost about 12%.
Putting it back into suspend for another 5 hours only lost another 5%. This
seems about right. I think the problem the other night may have been
that I had the PCMCIA modem plugged in and this drained the battery. I
thought suspend cut the PCMCIA power too, but perhaps not.
