Help! I formatted my HD for NetBSD. I have the 2 install + 1 boot floppies
>from the image site at ftp.iastate.edu. I also have Keith Moore's
patches for NetBSD. Question: do I install the pathces to the kernel on
the floppy I just made from the images I download? My system will not
boot off the floppies. But, then...if I hafta install off the floppies,
then I cannot patch them from DOS (General failure error reading drive
A...blah blah blah). This is frustrating...I have the patches on my DOS
hard drive...but I have no way to patch the floppy BSD kernel since I
can't read the disk!!!! Arrrrrgh!!!!! If anyone has a solution for
this (read: patched kernel boot disk, if possible), please email me asap!
Thanks all!
