TP750 mono, 340 meg HD
Hi- last week, the humming sound of the HD increased by 2x-5x,
(varied), often changing when I wrote to or read from the disk.
I called IBM direct (from whom I ordered), and had a new drive
the next day. It took me the whole weekend to transfer all my
files (groan). I was very pleased with IBM direct's service and
handeling of my problem. Has anyone else had problems with their
HDs? Is this going to happen every 6 months?
