As stated several times in this group, disks are VERY expensive to our TP's.
The cheapest upggrade might be the installation of an PCMCIA III drive. They
comes up to 130MB (one "TP-approved" with Stacker prelaoded for 250MB or
so).
Some questions:
*Is installation possible and simple as advertising says ?
*Will they draw a lot of power ?
*How will they react to the battery-saving systems, do the spin down with
the general system, are separate systems installed or none at all ?
*Can they be turned off when not needed ?
