Hi,

I just purchased a 755Cs a couple of weeks ago with the standard
4MB of memory and am about to upgrade to an additional 8MB or
16 MB.

I noticed that IBM PC-Direct charges about $700 for 8MB IC DRAM
Card and $1600+ for a 16MB IC DRAM Card.

In the latest Computer Shopper I can get 8MB for ~$370 or 16MB for
~$800.

My question: is this a good price or can I do better?

I also plan on purchasing a Dock II, a 17" external monitor (maybe
NEC 5FGe), IBM's extended keyboard, CD-ROM drive, backup tape
drive, and a PCMCIA modem (MegaHz XJACK I think).

As you can probably gather, I plan on making my 755Cs into a
desktop unit, (that's why I didn't spend the extra ~$1400 for the 755C).

Thanks for the advice.
