Sorry to bring spirits of truamas past back, but if someone could post me
details of that phantom connector needed for the TP drive series, I'd be
most appreciative.
I pulled my 360 170M drive out, and haven't opened it up yet, but did look
at the connector external for the drive box (AMP D connector, 60 pins). I
rang AMP and yes, it's theirs. Yes, the guy had all the tech sheets in
front of him. Yes they were sourcable (but not in Australia. I could
probably arrange sourcing in the states if this drive box project is still
on). I do however have the feeling that this was too easy, and therefore
the phantom part must be the connector *inside* the drive box. Am I
right? If so, what were the instructions again for opening the drive box?
