When OS/2 complains that the A: device is not responding, choose the
Retry option from the list it gives you. This may take two or more
tries. If it still doesn't work, go into setup (Func-F3) and change
the floppy drive setting from Auto to No. This should work fine.
I find this is necessary for HD disks but not for DD disks.
