Switching to VGA (OS/2)

 I want to switch to VGA from SVGA to intall OS/2 CSD on my TP750C.
I tried setvga command. The command itself worked correctly, but after
rebooting, OS/2 hungs up before PM screen and make low freq. beep. I'm
using Japanese version of OS/2 2.11. Is it common problem or local
one? Is there any solution?
