This is stated in the hardware service manual, but I find it hard to believe.
 I would imagine if you poked around with a hard-disk editor like the Norton
Commander, you would find the password on track 0.

It _is_ possible that they encrypted the password, but considering the amount
of effort they put into the boot password, I consider that to be unlikely.
