Not likely. If my father wasn't lying to me (he worked for a
battery-development company for a while--one of the majors that mfgrs. for
the biggies like Motorola Radios & Cellular Phones), then the charge-cycle
characteristics (and perhaps the discharge characteristics as well)
involved in charging a Lithium-Ion battery are different enough from
NiMH batteries that you wouldn't be able to use the other battery
technology in your machine which is designed for NiMH batteries.
