Hello, all.

I've ordered the Windows 95 Preview Program and hope to soon be
installing it on my ThinkPad 750. I'll let everyone on the list
know how it goes. As an OS/2 user, I probably won't be that
impressed, but I'll stay optimistic and open-minded.

In any event, I was wondering if anyone out there has had previous
experience with Windows 95 betas on TP750s. I know that Microsoft
doesn't like people talking about its beta software, but if anyone
out there isn't under a license agreement that keeps them from
talking about it, I would appreciate it if you could tell me about
any install snafus. Specifically, does Win95 come with an
appropriate inventory of drivers (video, sound, APM, PCMCIA, etc.)
or must the functionality be patched together from the existing
DOS/Windows drivers? Also, I would appreciate general comments on
the stability and speed of Windows 95, particularly with a SLIP
connection and lots of 16-bit Windows apps, as well as DOS games.

Thank you.
