Hi gurus,
Anyone know anything about running Windows NT on a Thinkpad ???
(specifically, a thinkpad 755CE)
Now that the latest release of Windows NT supports PCMCIA, I was thinking
about giving it a try. I am sick to death of resource/memory/crash problems
with Windows 3.1.
My big concern is drivers, specifically MWAVE drivers for NT for audio,
MIDI, and/or telephony support. Do they exist? anywhere? can I use the
windows 3.1 drivers for this under Windows NT (i doubt it) ? how about
power management support, things like suspend/hibernate, etc ?
any insight from anyone would be great,
thanks,
Todd
p.s. yes, i know i can get the drivers and good protection from OS/2, but
for many reasons NT would probably be better for me if I do not have to
sacrafice audio support
