we want to run Solaris so we can support our products on Solaris, we already
support Linux, that's not the issue. Probably in practice what appeals to
people is the idea of the same OS on their Suns and PC's. And yes, I think
it is true that the software situation looks much better on Solaris, though
I don't know if this really applies to the x86 version, sure it is source
compatible, but that does not mean that commercial proprietary products
have nbecessarily been ported, e.g. can you get Frame for Solaris x86?
