It doesn't do any harm, but it doesn't work either. You _can_ plug a
mouse straight in, as the little graphic indicates.

There are clone adaptors too, but they also cost about $45. Computer City
sells them, if you're of a mood to buy it in person and have one near
you. Dunno if there could be any real difference in quality tween the two.
