I just had this problem on a 755 CD. The solution was to run ps2 ir
disable to disable the IR port (under DOS) then power the machine off
and back on holding the F1 key to get to Easy Setup. Go to Config and
Serial and set the serial port to port 1. Savem exit and restart and
you should be there.
