Believe it or not, yes. I saw this behavior on my old PowerBook when I went
on vacation for a week+ and came back to see my e-mail app still up and
running. When I closed it, there was an e-mail ghost on all of my other apps.
However, the effects of the 'burn' seem to dissipate with time and are not
quite as marked as those on CRT's. I think it relates to a 'memory' effect
in the liquid crystal.
Anyone out there know the physics behind this?
