i was just reading through the win95 instructions from the 'thinkpad win95
page' and it says that the floppy & cd rom should only be swapped when the
machine is powered off or in full suspend mode. it then mentions specifically
that swapping them while in partial suspend mode can damage the thinkpad. it
does not specifically mention the consequences of swapping them while win95 is
up & running with full power. i have been hot-swapping the cd & floppy on
these without a single problem. does anyone know the details behind this
warning & whether or not i really should be worried? i'd hate to not be able
to hot-swap them.
