I have a 755cx with a dock II docking station and a cd-rom drive. Since
I have heard mixed responses about Win95 in the Thinkpad, I decided to
try it on my machine before buying it. ( Don't be alarmed, I don't steal
software, but I like to try it before I buy it ). Anyway, I borrowed my
friends CD version of Win95 to install. I openned my new hard drive,
installed DOS and the CD driver, upgraded the bios, and proceeded to
install the Win95using my docking stations and the cd-rom. The
installation went fine, but the only problem is, my machine won't boot.

I get an error 'loading a Vdx on hardware item 3 serive b' ( or someting
like that, I left the error message at home ).

Any help in this area would be appreciated. My current assumption now is
that there is a problem with the docking station drivers not being
present. I am thinking about buying the disketter version, installing
it, loading the docking station drivers, and then trying the docking
station. But, this is just a guess.
