Peter,
I think you can just use either bare or abare for the boot disk and use the
color root disk. I installed Slackware 3.0 on my TP755CD but had to copy
the disk sets to my DOS drive because to install off a CD you need the CD
and the Floppy to be working at the same time. I had no problems having the
mouse pointer recognized, in the configure menu just choose the PS2 (aux)
type. This should do the trick.
