Although the readme wording is subject to debate, it is almost certainly
refering to V.42bis compression - not V.42 error correction.
The two reasons are: less resources in use by the mWave and the audio file is
already optimally compressed by the application.
In ref to the speed - things might work at half duplex at 28.8.
