Folks,
I am seeing this problem a *lot* on my 760c, but not on my 755cx.
Might anyone have nay ideas as to why this is happening? It's driving
me crazy!
Basically, whenever I try and dialout using Dialup Networking, its
telling me that the modems are in use of Dialup Networking or another
program and that I should close the program and then I can use the
modem. This is of course untrue, as I am not using the modem neither
is another program.
I can't even get extended diags via the modems control panel - it
says the "port is open". There are no conflicting interrupts or
anything like that. ANY suggestions?
Two modems on this machine - 1xMWave DSP and 1x28.8 Megahertz XJack
PCMCIA card. The Megahertz works like a dream on the 755cx and indeed
when it works on the 760c it works fine too.
Anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
/rickt
