Faxworks V3.00G058 and comm drivers?

I just upgraded to Faxworks V3 from IBM's BBS and found out
it doesn't work with the Cybercom comm driver. It does with
the PC-DOS stock comm.drv driver but then that one doesn't do
well at 28.8 either, so.. what's available that can do both?
