In Control Panel/Network, set up TCP->Dial Up Adapter connection. There
you can specify "Obtain an IP address automatically".
I've got a TP755C and have cards for a 3COM Ethernet III (combo), Olicom
Token-Ring and a Motorola Montana 28.8 modem. At work, I usually have one
of the net cards, TR mostly, and the modem. When I connect from home, I
disconnect or take out the net card (so that W95 won't try to connect me to
a network) and just do a dial up connection to my ISP via PPP.
At work, I use both the NW32 client for LAN connections and TCP to go into
the Internet. If I did a dial up connection at work, my LAN and TCP
connections would be severed but the LAN ones could be restored after a
dial up connect.
The TCP connections thru the net cards can be specified for either
automatic or fixed address assignment.
