Dock I and SCSI?

I jsut bought a dock I for my TP 755CD, and after going through the manual,
it seems that there is a SCSI controller builit into it? Is this correct?
Win 95 didn't recognize it.

Where can I get the specifics about it? Will it work with linux? I'd be
interested to hear from other dock I owners, I've never done SCSI before.
