     I've been swapping adapters for years between 750/755/760 models in my
     department. No problems encountered.

 Does anyone know if you can swap ac adapters between ThinkPads? I see the new
 one for a 760E says it's rated as follows:
     
 Input:100-240v 1.0a-.55a, 50-60hz
 Output:16v 2.2a
     
 ......and the one I would like to use from an older 755 ThinkPad is rated as
 follows:
     
 Input:100-240v 1.1a-.56a 50-60hz
 Output:20-10v 2.2a-3.38a
     
     
 The plugs are the same.
     
 Do I dare?
