This implies that an AMD586-100 upgraded 701 will be as fast as a native
P75 laptop. This is likely false. The AMD is a super chip, but anyone
interested in big systemic results will likely be disappointed. Since
PEPsales has been promising real-world benchmark comparisons for a while
without delivering, I suggest interested readers look at the ZD
results posted at www.gainbery.com. Ignore CPU-specific benchmarks
(like CPUmark), on which the AMD does very well, and look at systemic
results like Winstone.
