I'm planning to buy several ThinkPad 560E's, but I'm wondering
first if anybody has experience running BSD Unix (FreeBSD, NetBSD,
OpenBSD) or Linux on one. I want to run both FreeBSD and NetBSD,
but success with OpenBSD should easily translate and success with
Linux should also help. I'm mostly wondering about whether the
PCMCIA support will work with the 560E's CardBus controller, but
I believe the video chip is also slightly different and there may
be other differences. Any success stories or other pointers would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
