Hi,

Like the original poster, I'm looking for a replacement drive for my 701.
My criteria are the following:
    1. size between 1 GB and 2 GB
    2. drive must be as quiet as the original IBM 360 MB I still have
    3. price $400-500 max.
I found a number of potentially suitable candidates (listed below). I'd
appreciate recommandations based on personal experience and also
suggestions about a reputable mail order company.
