The 560's video capabilities.

I was going to maybe pick up one of the 1299 560's that are being
advertised, and I was wondering. It is the dual scan model, and it says it
can only handle 256 colors, now on the 701 this was the same case, but I
was about to kick it into higher color depths using quickres. So the
question is, has anyone out there who owns a 560 with the dual scan screen
been able to kick it into 16 bit color mode at 800x600 or even in 640x480.
