Sorry -- I have no experience with the Sigma Data units, but I just saw that
Surplus Direct (www.surplusdirect.com) is currently selling new 6x IDE TEAC
CD-46E CD-ROM drives which they claim are for internal use in ThinkPad
755/360/365 models. They're clearly a little confused about these model
numbers (certainly the 360 series never accomodated CD-ROMs), but the
price is pretty good: $22 + $8 shipping.
