I installed Slackware 3.4 on my ThinkPad 765, and compiled the kernel
version 2.0.33 with the option, CONFIG_APM, enabled.
What is happening is that the new kernel always panics, while the kernel
without APM support does not. The error message begins as follows.

APM Bios version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Drive version 1.2)
    Entry f718:0 cseg16 f000 dseg 20b cseg len ffff dseg len 400
    General protection: 0000
    ... ...

I also tried to do with another version (2.0.30, 2.0.32, 2.1.85), but the
result was just the same. Is there anyone who knows about this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
