Still? They used to say, "Oh, IE4 is beta software." What's their excuse
now?
I think IBM should improve it's relationship with Microsoft. I'm tired of
being shortchanged as they both continue to fight this OS turf war. IBM's
stance sounds like a cranky 3 year old who didn't get their way.
   I wonder when IBM will support Windows98? It comes out soon (May?). Are
they beta testing on their own hardware? Native MPEG2 and DVD support is
included in '98, is a 770 supported out of the box? Are older IBM Thinkpad
drivers on the '98 CD? Is the help desk staff getting up to speed on
installation/upgrade snafus?
  I realize '98 is not the major upgrade that '95 was. I just hope they
have learned from recent history that Thinkpad customers expect
better/faster support than what they got when '95 came out.
