[TP755] Debian Linux 1.3.1, what's supported , what’s not?

Hi,

        I am thinking of buying a referbished TP755CD, I want to use Debian Linux
1.3.1 on it, any problems / tricks I should know about? is $659 a good
price for one? it comes w/ a docking station. this is the first time I
have looked into laptops period, so I am some what green on the subject.
Some one on the Debian mailing list suggested I join this list that you all
would be very knowledgeable on the in's outs and all abouts of the TP...
