Agreed. A good hand-holding manual for DCC is

BTW, if one is using a serial cable or IR to network under W95, you'll get
more flexibility by using Dial-Up Networking/Dial-Up Server together with a
'virtual' modem on each machine. The advantage is true bidirectionality
(with DCC you have to 'fool' the system into letting each machine be a guest
on the other simultaneously). However, DCC *does* have the advantage that
you can use it and DUN at the same time, which means that (together with a
proxy server or similar) you can dial into an ISP with one machine and have
both machines on the internet. (I recently used this in order to let a
desktop use a laptop's modem.)
