The ultra-tiny (Portege, etc.) are the subnotebooks. Maybe even the 701
is (the last great one, IMO--given that it managed to maintain a full-size
keyboard).
The 560's & etc. (perhaps the 600, the Sony, the Versa 5000 series,
Digital's Hi-Note Ultra...) are in a class they're calling "Thin and
Light". An apt description, I think--since it doesn't pretend to be "extra
small", just thinner than usual and lighter too. That certainly describes
the 560.
