I guess another thought is that both Glidepoints I've owned stopped working,
and the Touchpads are just too inaccurate. Fortunately, my new SPARCbook
has a Trackpoint (in fact, a Lexmark keyboard replicated from the 750), and
that will be a joy to use, if I get the 701 in for service soon. As many have said,
it's a matter of personal preference.
