Depending on who you're talking to. I'm 6'5", so I have a lot of back room
for my computers. Now, carrying one of my two backpacs is hard.
For me, as long as the machine is under 8 lbs. itself, it's okay.
(The SPARCbook is also a Magnesium alloy case, making it heavier than
plastic).
Now carrying heavy peripherals is a major setback for me (CD-ROM, etc).
