the 760C uses Li batteries..
i forgot if you can use a NiMH in there as well, but i think not..
there is an external charger available...
the best source is the manufacturer or a big direct vendor..
no need in paying big bucks for a battery thats a year or two old, even if
unused..
i, personally, have never owned one TP long enough for the battery to die,
except now that i am hanging onto two 701C's, i may learn what its like..
:-)
there are people who repack a bad battery, and if the use good cells, then
those should work well..
only thing i would be wary of is a rebuilt battery where the cells have
been soldered to the jumper wires.. cells get too hot and they give it up
before they should..
