Hello,

I heard on DVD drives there is a limit as to the number of times
you can change the zone. This is a limit implemented in
the firmware of the drive and not in the driver (so reinstall does
not work). There are people who have worked around it but
I do not have details. I do not know if this applies to the
thinkpad.
