Hello,

I bought a 365ed over a year ago that needed a new DSTN display.
I replaced the display and got it to work. Months later I noticed
occasionally it would boot up with no video (i.e. just a backlight) but
it seemed
to come back if I tapped it and stayed fixed for months.

Finally it went dead with only the backlight. I checked the cables
and connectors
connecting the LCD to the motherboard and they were ok. I finally
carefully removed
the LCD panel from the case lid. I heard as I was handling it a click
sound as
if a connector locked in.

The LCD panel on my machine has two driver boards across the back of the
panel with connectors to the main panel. One of these connectors got
loose
and was causing the no video problems.

So if you do not see a problem with the cable to the motherboard check
the back
of LCD panel itself. Be careful when handling the panel.
