Giday,

I've got a 770-1AU and I found the sound problem too, in pinball and Pitfall
(a cool win95 game) The solution to this is on IBM's web site under hints
and tips, I think. You have to change the interupts of the sound card. It
works and does not muck up anything else. If you can't find it e-mail me and
I'll look it up.

I've also got QT 2.1.2.59 on my machine. I never installed it, I guess it
came with Adobe or something. This works perfectly, maybe some other
software you have is conflicting with it. I know, definately not what you
wanted to hear.

BTW. The battery in my 770-1AU lasts over 4 hrs, with the hard drive running
continuously, but just typing into word. Lasts about 3.5 - 4 hrs switching
apps and thrashing the drive and DVD.

Andreas!!
;-)
