Dear TP group,

Thanks for all the helpful cleaning suggestions for my TP LCD. I tried
something from the office called Staticide wipes and they seemed to work--
I think. Now however, I have another worry that makes me curious about
others' experiences with the TP.

The user's manual says that I shouldn't use the thing at temperatures above
94 degrees. That doesn't really seem very hot to me and I can envision
ambient temps in that range on many days here in So Cal. I wonder about
two things: What happens if I use the LP at 94 degrees and what happens if
it's just sitting around at 94 degrees. Actually, three things: the third
being, what are the actual physical things that happen to the laptop if it
gets too hot? Chip melt maybe?

Try not to think of this as frivolous. No computer people I know have any
idea and it's too daunting and time consuming to ask Big Blue.

Thanks for any help.

Byerly Woodward
