I just purchased a Thinkpad 770E, this is the first laptop I've owned. A
friend told me that you should run it mainly off of the battery, and
recharge it with the AC adapter when you're not using it. I can find
nothing in the documentation saying anything like this. I'm using it as a
desktop replacement machine, so when I'm working on it, generally I want to
leave it plugged in, and use the battery while on the road.
My question is... will it hurt the battery to leave the computer plugged
into the AC most of the time?
