Wow, I'm starting to see some attractive prices on 600's now.
And things are starting to loosen up with the Neomagic situation.
There are some no-cost X servers now (binary only, sigh) and
some hope of getting the specs released at some point.
Can anyone (I guess that means Lee) tell me how the 600 compares in:
- keyboard feel
- heat
- sound quality?
These are things I can't easily figure out from the specs.
Also, some 600's claim to have a 56k modem. Is that a v.90 modem,
or some obsolete standard like k56flex? Is it an MWave/ACP modem
like the 770's, or is it a normal modem (that I can use under Linux)?
