I am aware of the fact that IBM doesn't officially support the 64 MB
module for the 365X/XD. However, this is not a hardware limitation. It is
therefore quite possible that the newest BIOS revision 1.10 in fact makes
it possible to use the module on all 365X/XD. You may remember that HDD's
over 2.1 GB were not supported either by the early BIOS revisions on this
machine.
All I am saying that it is working for me on my 365XD with the latest
BIOS. If somebody else could confirm this on their machine, maybe you
could be convinced?
