Thanks for pointing me in the right direction... I found out (from reading
the F-ing manual) that I could disable CardSoft "support" on a card-by-card
basis (via inserting the card while CardWizard is running, then going to
Properties of that card, and changing to PlugNPlay support), bypassing the
possibly useless software without having to remove it completely.
Indeed, then my card installed beautifully!
