prologue: the next generation TP (770XD or 775??) should announce soon.. very
soon.. it is expected to have a P-II, 300mhz cpu, a 13.7TFT display (yes,
smaller!) AND (hopefully) the 100mhz buss (which means it will also have the
intel BX chipset)...
now, it has not been announced, yet, and the 100mhz buss is a TRY TO DO IT
thing in the time allowed before announcement..
(this IS gossip)

the 8.1gig is one of the FASTEST notebook drives available..it all depends
upon how many frames per second you want to capture..

i have not done a dual boot, but i HAVE done win95B, win98 (several times<G>)
and NT4 with SP3..don't use NT, i was just trying it..

the trackpoint is fine..anyplace..
my finger, DOES tend to get tired on occasion..
on the keyboards for my desk type systems..
the 770 has a suporior trackpoint...

not sure.. BUT, it does not complain when i turn on the 24bit color..and the
color is super on the display..
