FWIW, I am writing this from a newly acquired ThinkPad 380D
(2.1GB/80MB) that's running RedHat 4.2. I recently got a 3Com 3C589D
PCMCIA 10-baseT/10-base2 combo card installed and running as well.

I'm VERY pleased with the setup so far. It sure beats 95, but you
already knew that. :-)
