  Perhaps he's confusing it with Lithium Hydroxide which is a
non-rechargable cell type that has excellent shelf life. It discharges
around %5 per year. It has no place as a main power supply for notebooks,
but it does make a dandy power source for CMOS RAM and clocks and such.
