nice and smooth. Unfortunately, scrolling back upwards results in wavy
flicker that did not exist under W95 and is annoying to say the least.

Has anyone else experience the same problem with their NT & XGA machine and
found a solution? FWIW, it has 80MB of RAM & 2MB of VRAM.

My 760E XGA (9546-U9B) running NT4 Server SP3 does the same thing. It's a
major bug in the display driver. It is using the hardware bitblitter when
moving an image up or to the left, but falling back to a software BitBlt
when moving down or to the right. Whew! El stinko!

I've been meaning to report this to IBM, and your message has prompted me
to do so... <g>

Menu or Power Management Icon in the Task Tray.

You need to run the Fuel program. Put it in your common Startup folder. It
won't give you suspend on the start menu, though. You should still be able
to suspend with Fn+F4. (I must confess I haven't tried this in a long time,
though--my 760E stays on all the time as an NT server.)

Configuration. Attempt to enable hibernation results in error message
"Cannot create the hibernation file when PC card for communication is
attached." The drive in question is formatted with FAT16.

Take out the card and then create the hibernation file. I think it should
be OK after that. At least that's how it works on my TP600--I don't use
hibernation on the 760E.
